Disaster Preparedness

Under the Ambassador’s Fund, Disaster Preparedness was introduced to tackle natural calamities. These grants have supported initiatives that prepare communities to respond to natural disasters, improve their resilience and enhance their ability to compliment government disaster relief efforts. As part of this initiative, early warning systems were created; and community-specific plans and drills were developed and carried out to address hazards. This is an exclusive Ambassador’s Fund thematic area.
