Economic Growth

The Small Grants and Ambassador’s Fund Program has focused on economic growth grants to encourage communities to become economically independent, nurture more competitive enterprises and create effective market environments that benefit local businesses. Agriculture has been prioritized with a focus on improving income of rural communities through up gradation of existing skills, strengthening agricultural practices through modern farming techniques, construction of farm to market roads and providing technical and vocational training to farmers.

USAID/Pakistan has, in cooperation with the USAID Office of Inspector General, established the Anti-Fraud Hotline to provide an avenue for the reporting of fraud, waste, and abuse which may be associated with USAID funded projects in Pakistan. Complaints are handled with complete confidentiality and individuals are encouraged to report when corruption, fraud, waste or abuse may exist in the USAID/Pakistan projects.
