The Ambassador’s Fund pledged its commitment for protecting Pakistan’s rich bio-diversity by promoting community based wildlife conservation initiatives focusing on tangible and intangible benefits to the rural communities for effectively managing wildlife and preserving the natural habitat and species of Pakistan. As a result, communities have improved incomes through increased wildlife-related recreation and tourism. Wildlife management in national parks also played an important role in conservation and biodiversity by providing venues for education, research, strengthen the legislative framework and capacity of law enforcement agencies and by providing habitat for threatened species in Pakistan. This is an exclusive Ambassador’s Fund thematic area.

USAID/Pakistan has, in cooperation with the USAID Office of Inspector General, established the Anti-Fraud Hotline to provide an avenue for the reporting of fraud, waste, and abuse which may be associated with USAID funded projects in Pakistan. Complaints are handled with complete confidentiality and individuals are encouraged to report when corruption, fraud, waste or abuse may exist in the USAID/Pakistan projects.
